Marinus Adrianus Koekkoek (1873 –1944) was a Dutch artist and painter, primarily of animals and birds. He created paintings for 36 school posters that were used in biology lessons until the late 1980s. From 1918, Koekkoek was employed as a scientific illustrator by the National Museum of Natural History in Leide, where he worked for twenty years.
This work is titled In the this work is titled The Naardermeer, after the oldest nature reserve in the Netherlands.

This mural is made to order to your specifications through our in-house design team. Measurements will be rounded up to the nearest 53cm panel, and a 5cm trimming allowance will be considered on both height & width dimensions.
